For travelers on the heavy trafficked I-15, Primm is the gateway to Southern Nevada. It's the first stop in Nevada for travelers arriving from Southern California.
As a Nevada border town, you'd expect casinos. But Primm offers much more than that.

The outlet mall in Primm is called the Prizm Outlets. It’s a large indoor shopping mall connected to the Primm Valley Resort.
Stores in the outlet mall range from clothes, to accessories, to kitchenware, to bath, home furnishings, shoes, collectibles, and much more. There is also a food court in the mall, which is easily accessible from the mall’s east entrance.
You can also easily combine your trip to the outlet mall with a visit to Primm Valley Resort & Casino.
This resort is Primm’s highest rated property. It’s the community’s most luxurious resort with a stately, country club style environment. Primm Valley Resort also caters to golfers with stay and play packages at the Primm Valley Golf Club.
The casino has over 1,500 slot machines and a wide range of table games, a sports book, and a keno lounge.
Whiskey Pete’s is Primm’s oldest hotel/casino property having opened in 1977. While the property has been renovated, it has more of a classic Vegas style with an 1800s mining theme and attractions such as the Bonnie & Clyde Death car.
Whiskey Pete’s is a good choice as a families with its affordable prices. There’s a McDonald’s on premises and other dining choices.
If you love golf, Primm has two fantastic 18-hole golf courses on the California side of the border, a few miles south of the community. The courses are in close proximity to the Ivanpah Solar Farm, which is at the foot of Clark Mountain and the Mojave National Preserve.
The golf club is an oasis in the stark desert and mountain landscape. It has many water features and lush vegetation and you may even see a blue heron. Don’t be confused by its Nipton address as that is the nearest California community to the golf club.
The courses, The Lakes Course, and The Desert Course were designed by renowned golf architect Tom Fazio. There is also a 22-acre practice facility on premises with a driving range, chipping and pitching greens and sand bunkers, and practice putting greens. There is also a Bar & Grill and clubhouse.
The courses are well reviewed by players and stay and play packages are available. The Primm Valley Golf Club allows you to book online on their website or by phone.
Primm’s lotto store is one of the world’s busiest lottery stores. It features scratch tickets, Powerball, Mega Millions, SuperLotto Plus and other lottery options.
In addition to ticket counters, it also has self-serve lottery machines to purchase tickets.
The Primm lotto store is just south of the Prizm Outlets on the California side of the border.
If you’re hungry, dining may be at the top of your list. There a variety of fast food/fast casual options in Primm including Carl's Jr., Mad Greek Cafe, and IHOP. There are also finer dining restaurants, including steakhouses, in the casino properties.
There are many other convenient stops in Primm such as two gas stations, a Tesla charging station, and Starbucks.

One of Primm's most famous attractions, which is on the property, the Desperado Roller Coaster is currently closed and may not reopen. The closure also includes the Star of the Desert Arena.
If you like the outdoors, Primm has got you covered. In addition to golf, there are activities such as kite buggying on the Ivanpah Dry Lake, or hiking and rock climbing in the nearby Clark Mountains and Mojave National Preserve.
The Preserve's Ivanpah Road entrance is only 15 minutes south of Primm off of Nipton Road. You can also view the Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System along the way.
Or you can explore the nearby communities of Jean or Goodsprings, which is home to one of Nevada's oldest saloons.
Whichever activities you like to do, Primm can provide a few hours or days of entertainment, recreation, and fun.
